Appointment Policy

Life happens. So, it’s inevitable that unexpected events will occasionally happen in everyone’s life. To ensure the most effective and fair service to all of our clients, we follow the following polices:

CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please give us 24 hours notice. That way, someone else can schedule an appointment. In the event of a reschedule, the deposit paid will be transferred over to cover your future booking. However, if you fail to give us 24 hours notice, we will retain the deposit paid to book your appointment. If you need to reschedule because you are not feeling well or have any COVID-19 related symptoms, please contact us as soon as possible to reschedule. There will be no fee charged for cancellations due to illness.

NO-SHOWS A failure to appear to your scheduled appointment after fifteen (15) of the appointment start time will be considered a “no-show.” In the event of a no-show, we will retain the deposit paid to book your appointment, or half of the session price (clients on the EmpowerFuel Wellness Plan).

LATE ARRIVALS In order to accommodate all of our clients whose appointments may follow yours, your session will be shortened if you arrive late. If you are late to your session, you are welcome to receive whatever time is left in your appointment — up to 15 minutes late. Due to a tightly booked schedule, extending your session beyond your original appointment time cannot be accommodated. Regardless of the length of the service actually given, you will be responsible for payment of the full service you scheduled. Please plan accordingly to make it to your appointments and be on time as a show of respect to your therapist and other clients. Online Scheduling

ILLNESS POLICY & COVID-19 SAFETY The health and well-being of you and the Massage Therapist is top priority. If you currently or have recently had any respiratory, flu or cold symptoms including fever, chills, nasal drainage/congestion, sore throat, cough, muscle aches, or shortness of breath, you are required to reschedule your appointment for a date at least 14 days in the future.

SCHEDULING Services are scheduled by appointment only. All appointments are reserved with a credit/debit card at the time of scheduling. In the event that the appointments are not confirmed with a credit/debit card within 24 hours of booking, the appointments will be void and will have to be rescheduled.

DEPOSITS Deposits are non-refundable, as they will be used as to hold your appointment after booking as well as for payment of the session upon completion. However, if you have to reschedule your appointment, your deposit will be transferred over to your future booking. If you are unable to reschedule, please contact EmpowerFuel Massage & Wellness at least 24 hours before your appointment. In the event of a late cancellation or no-show, the deposits will serve as the late cancellation/no-show fee. This fee will be processed on the credit/debit card retained on file to reserve the appointment at the time of scheduling.

FORMS Upon completion of scheduling your massage appointment, you will receive notification to complete the necessary forms for the Massage Therapist to perform the service. Currently, all clients must complete the Client Intake Form. A failure to complete the Client Intake Form will result in cancellation of the scheduled appointment.

AGE REQUIREMENT Appointments for children under the age of 16 cannot be accommodated at this time.

MASSAGE THERAPIST Preferences for a Massage Therapist of a specific gender may not be accommodated. Currently, there is only one Massage Therapist (male) on staff.

PAYMENT Full payment is due at time of service. EmpowerFuel Massage & Wellness LLC accepts cash, debit/credit cards (Visa, Master Card, Discover or American Express), Cash App, Zelle, and Venmo.


Groupon Policy

Thank you for your interest in EmpowerFuel Massage & Wellness LLC! While we appreciate your purchase with Groupon, please note the restrictions listed below while using your voucher:

As of 1 April 2024, EmpowerFuel Massage & Wellness LLC no longer accepts Groupon vouchers. However, if you have one that has not been redeemed, we will still accept your voucher as a form of payment until the voucher’s expiration date. Only one voucher can be used per client. If more than one have been purchased, it will not be honored. Alternatively, you may gift it to another person to use at their convenience.

All clients are to complete the necessary forms prior to the scheduled session.

Deposits for Groupon clients are refundable when you arrive to your scheduled massage session. The normal appointment policy above will apply. This fee will be processed on the credit card retained on file to reserve the appointment at the time of scheduling.

Vouchers cannot be used for special holidays, such as Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year’s Day.


Client Policy

GRATUITIES Gratuities, or tips, are not included in the prices of your services and are always appreciated, and at the client’s discretion.

COMMUNICATE YOUR PREFERENCES Be sure to speak up. All aspects of your massage session can be modified to your preference: pressure (too light or too deep), lighting in the room, style of music, temperature, and whether or not you choose to have a conversation or enjoy the treatment in silence.

CELL PHONE USAGE In an effort to maintain a relaxing & tranquil atmosphere, cell phones and pagers must be silenced or turned off upon entering the treatment room.
