Client Policies
To ensure professional, fair, safe, and intentional service for every client, please review the following appointment, scheduling, and client care policies.
Appointment Policy
Life happens. Unexpected events will occasionally happen in everyone’s life. To ensure the most effective and fair service to all clients, EmpowerFuel Massage & Wellness LLC follows the policies below.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice so another client may schedule that appointment time.
In the event of a reschedule, the paid deposit will be transferred to cover your future booking. However, if you fail to provide 24 hours’ notice, the deposit paid to book your appointment will be retained.
If you need to reschedule because you are not feeling well or have any COVID-related symptoms, please contact us as soon as possible. There will be no fee charged for cancellations due to illness.
No-Shows
A failure to appear at your scheduled appointment after fifteen minutes of the appointment start time will be considered a no-show.
In the event of a no-show, EmpowerFuel Massage & Wellness LLC will retain the deposit paid to book your appointment, or half of the original retail price of the session without discounts for clients on the EmpowerFuel Wellness Plan.
Late Arrivals
In order to accommodate all clients whose appointments may follow yours, your session will be shortened if you arrive late.
If you are late to your session, you are welcome to use whatever time remains in your appointment, up to 15 minutes late. Due to a tightly booked schedule, we cannot accommodate an extension beyond your original appointment time.
Regardless of the length of the service actually given, you will be responsible for payment of the full service scheduled. Please plan accordingly and arrive on time as a show of respect to your therapist and other clients.

Online Scheduling
Illness Policy & COVID-19 Safety
The health and well-being of you and the Massage Therapist is the top priority. If you currently have or have recently had any respiratory, flu, or cold symptoms, including fever, chills, nasal drainage or congestion, sore throat, cough, muscle aches, or shortness of breath, you are required to reschedule your appointment for a date at least 14 days in the future.
Scheduling
Services are received by appointment only. You may select in-home or onsite services, or receive your session at our physical location by selecting the appropriate EmpowerFuel Massage & Wellness service option for the session you would like to receive.
All appointments are reserved with a credit or debit card at the time of scheduling. If appointments are not confirmed with a credit or debit card and the deposit is not paid within 24 hours of booking, the appointment will be voided and must be rescheduled.
Deposits
Deposits are non-refundable and are used to hold your appointment after booking, as well as toward payment of the session upon completion.
If you need to reschedule your appointment, your deposit will be transferred to your future booking. If you are unable to reschedule, please contact EmpowerFuel Massage & Wellness LLC at least 24 hours before your appointment.
In the event of a late cancellation or no-show, deposits will be applied as the late-cancellation or no-show fee. This fee will be processed using the credit or debit card retained on file to reserve the appointment at the time of scheduling.
Client Forms
Upon completion of scheduling your massage appointment, you will receive a notification to complete the necessary forms for the Massage Therapist to perform the service.
Currently, all clients must complete the Client Intake Form. Failure to complete the Client Intake Form will result in cancellation of the scheduled appointment.
Age Requirement
Appointments for children under the age of 16 cannot be accommodated at this time, except for Oncology Massage, Sports Massage, and CranioSacral Therapy sessions.
Massage Therapist
At this time, preferences for a Massage Therapist of a specific gender may not be accommodated. Currently, there is only one Massage Therapist, male, on staff.
Payment
Full payment is due at the time of service. EmpowerFuel Massage & Wellness LLC accepts cash, debit and credit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express, as well as Cash App, Zelle, and Venmo.
Client Policy
Gratuities
Gratuities, or tips, are not included in the prices of services and are always appreciated at the client’s discretion.
Communicate Your Preferences
Please speak up. All aspects of your massage session can be modified to your preference, including pressure, lighting in the room, style of music, temperature, and whether you choose to have conversation or enjoy the treatment in silence.
Cell Phone Usage
In an effort to maintain a relaxing and tranquil atmosphere, cell phones and pagers must be silenced or turned off upon entering the treatment room.
